The NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) program of OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) acknowledges private organizations and confirms their qualification to test technical products for their safety in the workplace according to the requirements of the US Occupational Safety & Health Administration. "US" stands for compliance with the requirements of US authorities, "C" for compliance with Canadian requirements.
